Smart Technology

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software, typically CAD/CAM files, dictates the movement of our vertical milling machines and lathes as well as the machine tools they hold. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery, from grinders and lathes to mills and CNC routers. With CNC machining, three-dimensional cutting tasks can be accomplished in a single set of commands.

Center of Excellence – Missiles and Rockets

The main difference between missiles and rockets is that missiles have a guidance system to assist them in meeting their designated target. Rockets, however, do not have a guidance system and are simply launched in the direction of the primary target.

PV’s center of excellence in CNC machining is machining critical parts for missiles and rockets.
